I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Texas State University near Austin, Texas.  I have been teaching at Independence High School since 2000.  I love teaching here, and I especially enjoy helping students develop an educational path and assisting them on the journey as they earn their diplomas. My philosophy is that education is a lifelong process. In 2004, I went back to school and earned a Master of Arts degree in Education from St. Mary's College. My favorite days are spent with my family.
