Graduation Requirements
Independence High School Diploma--230 credits
One hundred and fifty-five (155) of the credits must be selected to meet minimum content/subject area requirements (see chart below).
Courses may be used only once to meet graduation requirements.
Students must pass district benchmarks.
Independence High School graduates can participate in the Independence High School ceremony. All participants may wear a cap and gown.
Attendance at Liberty/Freedom/Heritage during the Spring Semester of the 12th grade is required to participate in Liberty/Freedom/Heritage's graduation ceremony in June (student must complete a minimum of 30 credits during the spring semester).
